Signs And Wonders | 12 July 2026

Pastor Chas Sandhu continues our series on the Holy Spirit by reminding us that God has empowered every believer to be His witness. Drawing from Acts 1:8, he encourages the church to expect the Holy Spirit to work through ordinary people, just as He did in the early church. Rather than relying on our own strength, we are called to trust God to do the impossible.

Throughout the message, Pastor Chas explores the biblical theme of signs and wonders. He explains that signs point people towards God, while wonders leave people in awe of His power. However, both have the same purpose, to reveal God’s love and lead people into a relationship with Him. He challenges the common attitude of “I’ll believe it when I see it,” reminding us that God’s way is to “believe, and then you will see.”

Pastor Chas shares that we should not chase miracles for our own sake. Instead, we should pursue a deeper relationship with Jesus, allowing signs and wonders to naturally follow a life surrendered to God. Pastor Chas highlights that the greatest miracle is a transformed life. A changed heart, a restored life and someone coming to know Christ are powerful demonstrations of God’s work.

He encourages us all to share our personal testimony, as it may be the very sign someone else needs to encounter Jesus. Ultimately, God is not simply looking for gifted people, but for men and women who are fully surrendered to Him, allowing the Holy Spirit to work through them to bring hope, healing and transformation to the world around them.

Pastor Chas encourages the church to live with faith, persistence, and expectancy. Sometimes God’s answers come immediately, while at other times the miracle is the strength and peace to keep going through difficult circumstances. He also highlighted the importance of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, including wisdom, discernment, faith, healing, and miracles, encouraging us to seek these gifts while remaining grounded in Scripture and testing everything carefully.

He concludes by urging us all to pursue Jesus above all else.
