Joshua- Signs And Wonders | 16 February 2025

Pastor Chas brings todays message about God’s power, faithfulness, and the importance of expecting miracles. He begins with a personal story about his grandchild noticing his Easter tie, using it as a reminder of Christ’s sacrifice. He emphasises that we should remember Christ’s work on the cross daily, not just on special occasions.

Pastor Chas then focuses on the book of Joshua and the Israelites’ journey to the Promised Land, drawing lessons from key events. He recounts the miraculous crossing of the Jordan River, the fall of Jericho’s walls, and, most notably, the battle in which God made the sun stand still. He reminds us that nothing is impossible for God—if He created the universe, He can certainly perform miracles!

He encourages believers to have faith and expect God to move in their lives, encouraging us to seek a deeper relationship with God, as prayer and faith open the door for signs and wonders.

He acknowledges that we all have battles in life, but reassures us that God fights for His people. Drawing from Isaiah 43, he reminds everyone that God walks with us through fire and floods, ensuring we are not consumed.

Pastor Chas shares his personal testimony of God’s protection in his youth, highlighting how God directs our lives even when we don’t realise it. He closes with a call to action—we should step out in faith, share our testimonies, and expect great things from God. With faith, God will perform mighty works in their lives and communities.
