This Sunday’s service was a heartwarming and spiritually enriching experience. We began with vibrant worship, lifting our voices together in praise with songs like “Joy in the Morning” and “Hallelujah”. The atmosphere was filled with joy and gratitude, setting a perfect tone for the day.
Pastor Ephraim delivered an inspiring message on the theme “Honour One Another”, continuing our ongoing series. He emphasized the importance of valuing and respecting each other, highlighting Romans 12:10, which calls us to “be devoted to one another in love. Honour one another above yourselves.”
Ephraim reminded us that honouring one another involves recognising the inherent worth in everyone, as we are all made in the image of God. He encouraged us to use our words to build each other up, greet each other warmly, and be present for one another, especially in times of need. His message was a call to action, urging us to honour everyone, including our parents, children, spiritual leaders, and those in authority.
A touching moment of the service was when Ephraim illustrated the difference between honour and respect through a powerful example, showing that while respect is earned, honour is due to everyone.
We also had a special time of prayer for healing and a moving communion service, reflecting on the ultimate honour Jesus bestowed upon us through His sacrifice. Ephraim’s words reminded us to honour the blood of Jesus by accepting His gift of salvation.
As we move forward, let us carry the fragrance of today’s worship and the spirit of honour into our daily lives. Let’s strive to uplift and encourage each other, making our community a reflection of God’s love and grace.
Thank you to everyone who made this service possible. Let’s continue to pray, especially as we approach the 12th of June, a significant date for our church’s future home. Have a blessed week, Lighthouse family!
