The Amazing Feeling Of Christmas | 07 December 2025

In the first of our Christmas messages, Pastor Chas Sandhu invites us to refocus on the true meaning of the season. While the world may rush into decorations, music, and gifts, he reminds everyone that Christmas is first and foremost about Jesus Christ—our Saviour, our King, and God’s greatest gift to humanity.

Pastor Chas reflects on how Christmas stirs many different emotions. For some, it’s a joyful time filled with family, warmth, and generosity. For others, it may carry memories of loss or loneliness. Yet, whatever our circumstances, the heart of Christmas remains the same: God loved us so much that He gave His only Son.

Drawing from the carol “Angels from the Realms of Glory,” he highlights the call to worship that echoed through history—from angels to shepherds to wise men. He paints the scene of that night in Bethlehem when heaven burst into praise and ordinary shepherds encountered something so awe-inspiring that it left them trembling, amazed, and compelled to act. They didn’t just witness the miracle—they hurried to see Jesus for themselves and then shared the news with everyone.

He challenges us to recover that same sense of wonder. In a world where technology has dulled our amazement, he urges us to seek God afresh, refusing to let their relationship with Him become routine. Like the wise men, we are called to pursue Jesus with intention and worship Him with our whole hearts.

He reminds us that Jesus didn’t just come as a baby—He came to bring eternal life, hope, forgiveness, and transformation. This gift is offered freely, but each person must choose whether to receive it.

Pastor Chas closes by encouraging everyone to share the good news, invite others to encounter Jesus, and allow this Christmas to be a moment of renewed awe, renewed purpose, and renewed devotion to Christ.
