We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God and that Jesus - God’s Son - was the ultimate sacrifice for our sins, who was raised to life. We endeavour to live by His principles.

Our aim is to be a spiritual ‘lighthouse’ for our local community. Together, we take action and find the purpose given to us by Jesus Christ.

We provide a varied programme of activities and events for all ages. From young to old, you can trust there is a place for you here.

Central to our belief is the power of God to bring healing to both body and soul. We stand firm in the promise of John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that he gave His only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."

WHAT WE BELIEVE

1. In the inspired and supreme authority of the Bible, Old and New Testament which holds relevance to our lives today.

2. In the One True God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

3. Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed signs and wonders and was the Son of God who came as the Saviour of the world.

4. Jesus Christ died on a cross to atone for the sins of all humanity, salvation is only found by putting our faith in Jesus and making Him Lord of our lives.

5. Jesus Christ rose from the dead, visibly appearing to His disciples, He ascended to Heaven and is preparing to come again.

6. Water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus Christ and a testimony of our faith in Him as Lord. This is a command to all those who confess to follow Him.

7. In the baptism of the Holy Spirit, a filling of the believer with power for service. The initial evidence of this is speaking in tongues and the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

8. In regular taking of Communion as an act of remembering what the Lord Jesus Christ did for us on the cross.

9. In holiness of life and conduct in obedience to the command of God.

10. The personal and visible return of Jesus Christ to fulfil the purpose of God, who will raise all people to judgement, bring eternal life to the redeemed and eternal condemnation to the lost, and establish a new Heaven and Earth.

As a movement of churches, we believe that Jesus is still working in His church through the power of the Holy Spirit to change people's lives for the better. Ground Level is a movement of churches and our vision is advancing the Kingdom of God everywhere. We believe that through relationship, unity and partnership we can see the Kingdom of God advance in our world. The Lighthouse Project

The Lighthouse Project Spalding is a local charity providing social support and housing for vulnerable young people. Helping young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, young mums and their babies, and young people struggling with their mental health. Each charity area serves a different group to provide the best possible care.
